Annual maintenance for your home

Just like your annual physical with your PCP, your home, too, needs yearly check-ups. Below is a list of some of the more common maintenance appointments for your home, as well as a few for your consideration. Do you have any to add to this list?

boiler/furnace (make sure to keep up with all repairs as needed) and cooling, vacuum filters and/or ducts
septic (if you have a Fuji Clean type system) or pumping (every 3ish years)
generator
clean gutters

suggested:

interior and exterior window washing
exterior power wash
driveway sealing (every few years)
laundry vent cleaning
radon air mitigation system re-check

Lastly, I keep a running list of little items to have a handyman take care of as they come up for quarterly appointments: tweaking cabinet hinges, regrouting tile, etc. It's best to take care of little projects often before they become big projects!
