Late fall I had the pleasure of photographing 35 families in succession for 5-minute portrait sessions with Cumberland's Town Forest towering pines as our backdrop.
Planted in the 1930s, this 75 acre community land consists of a 1.5 mile loop and a 3/4 mile Story Walk where children can follow a picture book among the trees. Stroll, jog, bike or snowshoe through the well-marked and well-maintained crushed gravel trails in any season. Leashed pooches welcome, too!
Parking is available at the Town Hall on Tuttle Road or via the Drowne Road ball field lot.
