Shift

The market is shifting, they say.

In general, the trend is:

• There are more and more homes for sale.
• Interest rates continue to creep upward.
• Buyers who are financing are feeling pinched as they calculate monthly payments.
• Sellers aren't seeing record prices with multiple offers like was the norm two years ago.

Change is inevitable. We are lucky to live in Maine which will always be a favorable landscape and somewhat insulated from the major dips being reported across the country. My best advice is to ride the wave without clinging to what was and instead keep your focus forward on your goals.
